Annual Meeting
Every August, MMRMA hosts members for an annual business meeting of the Board of Directors, along with training on important leadership and risk management topics. Networking and knowledge sharing with fellow members, staff, and service providers from across Michigan is another key benefit of this signature MMRMA event.
Risk Management Workshop
In late winter, MMRMA presents a full day of training on nuts and bolts topics related to risk management and other issues facing public entities in Michigan. General sessions and breakouts provide insights on legislative and judicial developments, human resources, law enforcement, governance, and more.
Other Meetings
MMRMA’s Board of Directors, Standing Committees, and Risk Control Advisory Committees meet at regularly scheduled intervals to conduct business and help govern and guide the organization. See the Governance page for more information.
