Executive Director Michael Rhyner Announces January 2026 Retirement

MMRMA Executive Director Michael Rhyner has announced that he will retire in early 2026 after 24 years in the role.

Upon Mike’s retirement, in accordance with the executive leadership succession plan of the MRMMA Board of Directors, Bryan Anderson will become MMRMA’s third Executive Director, ensuring continuity of strong leadership and direction for the organization.

Writing to MMRMA membership and key business partners, Mike reflected on the past two decades: “I convey to you my deep gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside you and strengthen the foundation of our partnership.”

Citing MMRMA’s financial strength, member-centric service model, and excellent national reputation, Mike Rhyner noted he steps away confident that Bryan Anderson and the entire MMRMA team will continue to build upon this legacy.

He added, “It has been the privilege of my career to serve you… Thank you for your trust, partnership, and commitment to our shared MMRMA mission.”

Bryan Anderson to Serve as MMRMA’s Third Executive Director

Bryan Anderson is a licensed certified public accountant and chartered global management accountant. He joined MMRMA in 2008 as Finance Manager and subsequently held the roles of Finance Director, Managing Director, and Deputy Executive Director.

Prior to joining MMRMA, Bryan was a manager in the internal audit division of Chrysler, LLC, doing accounting compliance for their legal department and self-insured liabilities, and a senior manager for the accounting firm of Andrews, Hooper and Pavlik, with progressive responsibility in public accounting involving the insurance, government, and public entity pooling industries.
