MMRMA’s training has won several awards from national organizations, including the Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) and Association of Government Risk Pools (AGRiP). In 2019, we received honorable mention from PRIMA for our Rapid Response to Active Violence for Law Enforcement with Rescue Task Force model protocol and training. These tools help members formulate policy and receive training to facilitate coordinated efforts of first responder law enforcement officers and fire and EMS personnel during active shooter situations to save lives.
